How it works

How truck dispatching works with Aero Glide

Getting started takes a phone call and a few documents. After that, your dispatcher handles the load hunting, negotiating and paperwork.

Onboarding

Get set up in four steps

  1. 01

    Tell us about your truck

Fill out the form or give us a call. We'll ask about your equipment, home base, preferred lanes and goals.

  2. 02

    Send your documents

Your MC authority, certificate of insurance, W-9 and a signed dispatch agreement — plus a Notice of Assignment if you factor.

  3. 03

    We find & book loads

Your dispatcher searches, negotiates and sends you each rate confirmation to approve before it's booked.

  4. 04

    Drive, deliver, get paid

You haul. We keep brokers updated, collect the paperwork and send invoices so payment comes in on time.

Before your first load

What you need to get started

Brokers ask for these documents before they'll book you. Send them once and we keep them on hand for every carrier packet.

  • Active MC / USDOT operating authority
  • Certificate of insurance (auto liability and cargo)
  • Completed W-9
  • Signed dispatch service agreement
  • Notice of Assignment or letter of release, if you use a factoring company

New authority? That's okay — we work with newer carriers and focus on brokers that do too.

Every load

What your dispatcher does on every load

From the first search to the final invoice, here's what happens behind the scenes.

  1. 1

    Load search

We search load boards and call brokers for freight that fits your truck, lanes and timing.

  2. 2

    Rate negotiation

We negotiate the rate, accessorials and appointment times before anything is promised.

  3. 3

    Your approval

We send you the details. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

  4. 4

    Setup & rate confirmation

We complete the broker's carrier packet and review the rate confirmation line by line.

  5. 5

    Pickup & updates

We share pickup details and keep the broker updated so you aren't on the phone while driving.

  6. 6

    Delivery & POD

Once you deliver, we collect the signed proof of delivery and any receipts.

  7. 7

    Invoicing

We send the invoice to the broker or your factoring company and follow up on payment.
